CMI Plastics operates from a new family owned 70,000 square foot facility.  Conveniently located in Eastern North Carolina in the town of Ayden.  This state of the art facility utilizes centralized support systems; 24 hour electronically monitored security systems inside and outside the building as well as secured lock-up areas for product.  This well kept facility is strategically engineered to efficiently process orders of custom thermoformed parts and contract packaging. 

When CMI designed the new facility, growth was taken into consideration.  The site that the building is on is thirteen acres.  This allows for the addition of 150,000 square feet, giving a total of 220,000 square.  CMI also has a first rite of refusal on seven adjacent acres in the Minges Corporate Park.

The internal support system was also developed with growth in mind.  The electric, water, air, and data systems, are located over every thermoformer.  The system was built to supply 15 thermoforming lines.  CMI currently runs 10 off of this system.
